We do not ask for your photo

Soulari never asks you to upload a photo of yourself and does not collect facial or biometric data. Free readings are computed in your browser. Partner portraits are made from the options you pick, not from any photo (see "Partner portraits" below).

What we do collect

To provide your reading we process your birth date, chosen name and the preferences you enter. If you join the waitlist or subscribe, we store your email and subscription status via our payment provider.

We also count visits anonymously: once per browser session we note your country and city (from your network), device type, the site that referred you and the first page you opened, and send that to our team chat. We do not record your IP address and this counting sets no cookies; a small flag in your browser's local storage only tells us whether you have visited before.

We also count which pages are opened and which buttons or forms are used (for example "tarot reading submitted" or "checkout opened"), as a page path and an action name only, never what you typed. We keep these visit and page counts (country, source, device type, page, action) for 30 days to see daily totals. To count unique visitors, we store a one-way hash of your network address and browser type made with a random key that is deleted after one day, so the hash cannot be traced back to you or linked across days.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to see how people find Soulari and which readings they use. It receives the page you open, the same action names as above (for example "signed in" or "plan reserved"), your browser and device type and your approximate location. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Google Analytics sets cookies only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. Until then, or if you choose "Decline", it sets no cookies and gets only anonymous, cookieless signals. Advertising features are always off. You can change your mind at any time: open "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to show the banner again, then choose "Decline" to stop the cookies and remove the ones already set.

Sign-in and AI chat

To chat with Sori, our AI guide, you sign in with Google or Apple. We then receive an account ID from that provider (we store it only in hashed form), your name and your email address. With Apple you may choose a private relay address instead of your real email. We use these to count your free questions and, only if you tick the box when signing in, to email you when new features open. You can stop those emails at any time.

Your chat messages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to write Sori's answers. Soulari does not store the content of your chats on its servers.

Your profile

When signed in you can fill in a profile: an avatar, a display name, your birth date and, if you choose, your birth time and birthplace, your gender, who you are interested in and your relationship status. Every field is optional. We store the profile on our server with your account, together with the sun sign and life path number worked out from your birth date. It is used only to personalise Sori's answers, and it is sent to the AI provider with each question for that purpose. The free tools offer to save their birth details to your profile each time; nothing is saved unless you say so.

You can change your profile or delete it at any time on your profile page. Deleting it removes it from our server straight away.

Chat history

Your past chats with Sori are kept only in this browser's local storage, separately for each account, so you can pick a conversation up again. They are never uploaded to Soulari. Signing out does not erase them; use "Clear chat history on this device" on your profile page, or clear your browser's site data.

To delete your account and sign-in record, contact us as described under "Your rights" below.

Payments

Soulari Premium is sold through Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com), our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects your payment details, billing address and tax information and handles them under its own privacy policy; Soulari never sees or stores your card number. Dodo Payments tells us your plan, its status and renewal date, linked to your Soulari account, and that is all we store about your payments.

Partner portraits

A partner portrait is created when you ask for one, from the options you pick, and sent straight to your browser. We do not store the image on our servers. Portraits are AI-generated illustrations of fictional people.

Feedback

When you send feedback on our feedback page, we store your message, the topic and rating you chose, the page you came from and your country, so the team can read it. Your email is optional; if you give it, we use it only to reply to you. We do not store your IP address: to limit spam we keep a one-way hash of it that cannot be linked back to you after a day. You can ask us to delete your feedback at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@soulari.app.
