Add every digit of your birth date, then reduce to a single digit. Born 1996-05-12? 1+9+9+6+0+5+1+2 = 33 → 3+3 = 6. Your life-path is 6 — the number of devotion and home.
Two conventions worth knowing before you do the maths on your own:
- Master numbers. Many practitioners stop at 11, 22 and 33 rather than reducing them further. If your digits total one of those, you can read it as the master number and as its reduced digit (11 → 2, 22 → 4, 33 → 6).
- One reduction at a time. Add everything, then reduce. Adding partially and reducing halfway through gives a different answer, and the full-sum method is the common one.
Do it for your own date before you read the next section. The number means more when you found it yourself.

Reading it honestly
